Participants in the Bigbore Handgun Silhouette discipline at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club engage steel silhouette targets at distances of 50, 100, 150, and 200 meters using single-shot, revolver, and occasionally semi-automatic handguns. The goal is to knock over each target with a single shot before moving on to the next target.
