The Susanville Community Garden was founded by 3 LARP Co-Op members in 2018 with a vision to help our community grow more of their own food, increasing food resiliency within our County and giving space for anyone interested to learn about gardening in the High Desert. With partnership from the City of Susanville, LARP Co-Op is able to offer minimal to no-cost gardening space for Lassen County community members. Be on the lookout for sign-ups via the Susanville Community Garden Facebook page.
- Garden plots are available to anyone living in Susanville, CA, and surrounding areas for a sliding plot deposit fee of $0-$45. This deposit fee is returnable at the end of the season with proper clean-up of your gardening space or can be donated for garden supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Garden management will contact all gardeners to confirm plot assignments and orientation days (for new gardeners) at the beginning of the season, most likely in late March.
