Incredible Years

Incredible Year is an evidence-based program designed to help parents, teachers, and children build strong relationships, develop social and emotional skills, and reduce problem behaviors. The program is based on over 30 years of research in the areas of child development, parenting education, and clinical psychology. It provides strategies for adults to use with children ages 2-12 to promote positive behavior and prevent challenging behaviors. Incredible Years focuses on building positive relationships between adults and children through effective communication, modeling appropriate behavior, setting limits, using natural consequences when possible, providing praise and rewards when appropriate, teaching problem-solving skills, and helping children learn how to regulate their emotions.
